BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) — Bryan Ellis threw for 361 yards and three touchdowns and Pat Shed ran for a game-high 125 yards and a score to lead UAB past Memphis 31-15 on Saturday in Conference USA action.
The Blazers (4-7, 3-4) jumped out to a 17-3 lead with 10:24 remaining in the second quarter thanks to a 52-yard touchdown pass from Ellis to Jeffrey Anderson, a 1-yard scoring run by Shed and a 25-yard field goal by Josh Zahn.
